At age fifteen Karen was a self-taught artist who explored many different mediums, from playing and writing music and filling sketch pads with drawings, to making stained glass windows and painting. After a number of years in a 'safer' career in finance, Karen decided to combine her business background with her love of art and design, and make a full time career out of it. She has since obtained her Bachelor of Design at NSCAD, launched Karen Gaudet Graphic Design, and paints from her home studio. Karen's work can be found at Secord Gallery, Halifax, Art Sales and Rentals AGNS, Halifax, and at Seeds Gallery, Halifax.
